CLARK Europe donated to children around the world

A good job was done by the Social Working Group (AKS) of CLARK Europe GmbH in 2014. With kind and cash donations CLARK could help children from Olpe in Sauerland to Croatia and to Kenya. “We make a point not merely to pay lip service, but to best help directly,” explains AKS member Julia Strehl,” And the good thing is, that in all charity projects it is ensured through personal contacts that every cent and every care package reaches its destination. Especially since the direct help always leads to renewed motivation.”

CLARK Europe has achieved a lot in recent years in Kenya. CLARK supports the Badilika project, a registered non-profit association that initiates and develops educational projects in Kenya. And saves lives: When little Samuel, student of the Madaraka Education Centre in Mombasa, was found to have a serious heart defect, CLARK Europe paid spontaneously in April 2014 for flight tickets for Samuel and his mother so that they could fly to Khartoum/Sudan for Samuel to have a life saving operation in an ultramodern hospital.

Good news: Samuel rushes by today, after successful surgery now symptom-free, chasing after his friends at school. Talking about school: Also thanks to donations from CLARK the Madaraka Education Centre was able to build another floor in which the students in the higher classes have already moved in to.

CLARK makes it happen - “Help is packed”

Project 2014

Children help Children
Corporate social responsibility with a focus on children, youth and education CLARK Europe 2014 took responsibility in terms of, for example, the victims of the flood disaster in spring 2014 in Croatia. CLARK Europe and its employees donated clothing and food.

The Children’s Hospice in Olpe
Received a donation from CLARK Europe GmbH as well.

Help is packed
CLARK also contributed to the Christmas care package campaign “Help is Packed”. The longterm CLARK partner “Friedensdorf International” is based in Oberhausen and transports the packages directly to those in need - for example in Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Tajikistan.
